The CEO of Nanolek Evgeny Barinov takes part in the forum "The New Reality of Management," organized by FCongress with the support of Forbes Russia. The forum brought together top managers and representatives from successful companies across various business sectors.
Evgeny was a speaker at the session "New Technologies: Invest or Save? Balance." The discussion focused on the development of the digital environment, technological trends, and the implementation and adaptation of artificial intelligence (AI) in business.
"Back in 2022, we had experience piloting semantic search using neural networks, and the technology showed its limitations: the complexity of integration with existing systems, data security issues, infrastructure costs, and the need to restructure business processes. Many of these barriers still exist today, hindering the widespread corporate adoption of AI. Currently, Nanolek is investing in full-cycle production, which for us and many other Russian enterprises is a kind of 'homework.' Our priority now is biotechnological reactors and technological sovereignty. So if you are not investing in AI, don't worry — you haven't missed the boat. Leaders in any industry must first ensure leadership in technology and manufacturing. For medium-sized companies, AI can already help find new niches, highlight competitive advantages, and get ahead," says Evgeny Barinov.
