The Nanolek company became the silver medalist of the EMPLOYEE WELLBEING AWARD 2024 in the category “Best Physical Well-Being Program.” The award recognizes companies that have developed the best wellbeing strategies to promote and enhance the physical health of their employees.

The Nanolek corporate program for the physical well-being of employees consists of four large directions: medical care and expanded vaccinations, sports events, social benefits and working and rest conditions that promote the preservation and strengthening of health.

As part of medical services, there is a medical center at the production site, on the basis of which not only a doctor is seen, but also a physiotherapy room, and annual flu vaccinations are carried out. In 2024, Nanolek was the first in Russia to launch a project for free vaccination against the human papillomavirus (HPV) for employees and members of their families, including children over the age of 9 years. Vaccination against HPV is an opportunity to protect yourself and loved ones from benign tumors and oncology, as well as preserve reproductive health.

In 2024, the company implemented the Cafeteria of Benefits program, under which employees choose the most suitable option. More than half of the proposed benefits directly or indirectly contribute to the preservation and strengthening of health - voluntary health insurance for yourself or for a relative, additional payment for sick leave, reimbursement of the cost of vacation packages and memberships to sports clubs.

Traditionally, the company pays great attention to sports, which has become a stable corporate tradition. More than 35% of Nanolek employees take part in corporate sporting events - races, hero races, and annual sports competitions in seven sports.

Nanolek creates conditions for the most comfortable work and rest: a canteen is equipped for production workers, free meals are organized, including for night shifts, transfers from the city to the plant and back, landscaping of the territory is carried out, an eco-trail is organized for walks at lunchtime break. The office hosts fruit days once a week.

Ekaterina Uspenskaya, Deputy General Director for Human Resources and Administrative Affairs:

- Our company’s mission to protect people’s lives and health is relevant both in a global and individual sense: the well-being of the country as a whole and a specific person in particular is important to us. That is why we are implementing a comprehensive employee well-being program, an important part of which is the physical component. Every employee, regardless of position, can put forward a proposal to expand the program.

In 2024, the company conducted its first employee engagement and satisfaction survey and plans to conduct them annually in the future. Based on the results of the study, adjustments were made to the well-being strategy. The program will continue to develop and improve based on employee suggestions.
